Jean L. Ngoc Matelski-Boulware
Jean received a Master of Arts degree in Social Sciences, with a concentration in psychology, from the University of Chicago. She is currently the Assistant Director of Communications & Research for the Center for Practical Wisdom at the University of Chicago. Her interests lie in interdisciplinary approaches to interventions for specific populations and helping to move policy forward to include multidisciplinary efforts in community health.
Jason Boulware
Jason received an MFA from the School of the Art Institute in film, video and animation. His portfolio is a broad range of work from commercial to web series, radio to academic settings. In addition to this, he has produced and directed short and long form films with his most recent work in documentary format.
Olivia Thor
Olivia is a 19 year old college student studying illustration at Parsons School School of Design at the New School in New York City. She began taking art classes at LillStreet Arts Center in Chicago and then later at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She’s passionate about traveling, making lasting memories and creating new work. She is also interested in philosophy and culture. Olivia will intern at the JJ Effect for the 2022 summer.
